Diane Dunn

Diane Dunn is a highly experienced professional currently serving on the Board of Visitors at the University of Maine at Augusta and as the Adjutant General for the State of Maine. Diane holds various leadership roles including Executive Board Member of Katahdin Area Council and Athletics Advisory Board Member at Houghton University, where Diane chairs the Hall of Honor Committee. As a Standardbred Harness Racehorse breeder and owner since 1978, Diane trains and races horses in Maine and New England. Diane previously served as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President at the University of Maine, focusing on strategic initiatives and operational matters, and as a Commissioner for the Maine State Harness Racing Commission. Diane has an extensive military background, having held significant positions in the Maine Army National Guard and U.S. Army North, including Assistant Adjutant General Army and Deputy Commanding General. Diane's educational background includes a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Houghton University.
