Erick C.

Supervising Public Health Representative / Grants Principal Investigator at State of New Jersey

Erick C. has a strong background in public health, particularly in the field of tuberculosis control. Erick has worked for the State of New Jersey since 2004, holding various roles in the Tuberculosis Control Program. Their responsibilities have included supervising field staff, providing epidemiological and consultative services, and maintaining cooperative agreements with hosting agencies. Prior to their work with the state, Erick was a Project Manager at Columbia University Medical Center, where they focused on biostatistical review and statistical modeling for orthopaedic studies. Erick also has experience as a Project Manager at Hoboken UMC and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. In addition, Erick participated in the Hispanic Center of Excellence Summer Youth Scholars Program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where they gained exposure to medicine and research.

Erick C. received their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Quantitative Epidemiology from Rutgers University between 2001 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Artium Baccalaureus (AB) degree in Natural Science from Fordham University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition, Erick obtained a certification in TB Program Managers Course from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2008.
