Katrina MacHorro

Katrina Machorro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workforce development, grant administration, and educational program coordination. Currently serving as the Healthcare Workforce Pathways Coordinator at the Oregon Health Authority, Katrina specializes in enhancing recruitment and retention of diverse health care providers to promote culturally responsive care. Prior roles include Chief Impact Officer at Brown Hope, where program effectiveness for community initiatives was overseen, and various positions at Portland Community College, Cascadia Health, and Oregon State University that focused on workforce readiness, project management, and student services. Katrina holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education from the University of Virginia and dual Bachelor's degrees in International Studies and New Media Communication from Oregon State University. Additionally, Katrina is ACTFL certified in professional fluency in Spanish.
