Dawn Mumaw Lcsw

Dawn Mumaw LCSW, SAC has extensive experience in social work and public health, currently serving as a Policy Initiatives Advisor at the State of Wisconsin's Department of Justice since September 2015, alongside roles as Regional Director of Public Health and Community Testing Program Manager. Dawn also works as a psychotherapist with Included Health and BetterHelp, while having brief experience as a Project Manager with the CDC Foundation in early 2023. Previous positions include Instructor at the University of Wisconsin Child Welfare Extension, AODA Administrative Coordinator for Juvenile Delinquency with Milwaukee County, and Family Drug Treatment Court Supervisor and Clinical Coordinator at SaintA. Dawn began a career in child welfare at the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare as an Adoption Specialist and Ongoing Case Manager. Dawn holds a Master of Social Work degree specializing in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
