Jim Ahern

Jim Ahern began their work experience in 1998 at MFS Investment Management, where they worked as a Senior Developer, creating a GUI front-end performance attribution reporting and administration system. Jim then moved on to Demos Solutions in 1999, where they worked in various roles such as Senior Programmer/Analyst and Product Manager, performing market analysis, creating business requirements, and coordinating software development and delivery. In 2007, they joined Verint Systems as the Director of Product Services, responsible for all aspects of product services operations. Jim also deployed and configured Sharepoint Services and led time studies for business requirements gathering. Jim's next role was at NewRiver Inc in 2009 as a Project Manager. Jim then joined Sovereign Bank in 2010 as a Project Manager, responsible for managing projects and overseeing staff. In 2014, they worked as a Business Analyst at LeapFrog Systems and then as a Business System Analyst at Eliassen Group. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Putnam Investments as a Senior Business Systems Consultant. Jim then joined State Street Global Advisors in 2018 as a Senior Business Consultant. Currently, they hold the position of Business Analyst - Global IT Credit Finance - Assistant Vice President at State Street Bank & Trust Co.

Jim Ahern attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1980 to 1984, where they studied history. In 1995, they pursued a Certificate in Client/Server Developer Program from Clark University. In 2001, Jim completed the Client/Server VB/ASP Web Developer Certificate Program at Clark University as well.
