Brad Hu

EVP, Chief Risk Officer at State Street

Brad Hu is the EVP, Chief Risk Officer at State Street. Prior to their current position, Brad served as a Financial Advisory Roundtable Member at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from May 2016 to December 2021. From August 2008 to December 2020, they were the Chief Risk Officer at Citi. And from September 2006 to July 2008, they were the Head of Japan Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley.

Brad has also held positions at the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), Asia Society, Museum of American Finance, and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Brad began their career at the MIT School of Science.

Brad Hu is a highly accomplished risk management professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Brad is an expert in capital markets, global risk management, and corporate governance. Brad has a proven track record in leading and managing risk management functions at large financial institutions. Brad is a respected thought leader in the risk management community and has been recognized for their work in developing innovative risk management practices.

Brad Hu graduated with a SB and SM in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Brad then went on to earn their MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
