Cameron Fen

Primary Data Scientist | Global Credit Finance

Cameron Fen is a primary data scientist at State Street's Global Credit Finance Department, responsible for implementing GenAI workflows and traditional forecasting for a portfolio exceeding $40 billion in fixed income products. Prior to this role, Cameron served as a model validator, validating large-scale models and providing critical feedback on various machine learning models. Additional experience includes a data scientist and PhD candidate role at the University of Michigan, focusing on macroeconomic modeling with deep learning, as well as a finance technologist and head of research at A.I. Capital Management, where the development of machine learning trading algorithms was overseen. Cameron began the career as a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, where a large-scale NLP platform was built to analyze U.S. patent history. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brandeis University.
