Chris Coleman

EVP, Head of Global Client Coverage at State Street

Chris is the head of Global Client Coverage at State Street. In this role, he oversees Global Sales and Global Relationship Management across our regional and segment organizations. Prior to his current position, he was the executive vice president and head of sector solutions for the Americas at State Street, where he led sales and business development across all industry sectors in the Americas. Before this, he was the senior vice president and head of the global relationship management program, where he managed a team of relationship executives with direct responsibility for 40 global client relationships.

Chris became part of the organization through the 2007 State Street acquisition of Investors Bank and Trust, having joined Investors Bank in May of 2002 as a senior director of marketing. In this role, he was involved in various sales, product development and marketing efforts, including the Alternative Investments Product Steering Committee, the Collective Investment Trust Steering Committee and the launch and expansion of Investors Bank’s Canadian presence.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with extensive knowledge of product development, sales management, operations and client management. Prior to joining Investors, Chris spent nine years with Thomson Financial, where he spearheaded several buy- and sell-side sales and product development efforts in the financial services operations and technology space.

Chris graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
