Katherine Austin

Katherine Austin currently serves as the Deputy Head of Sanctions Research, Escalations & Screening Oversight at State Street since May 2024. Prior to this role, Katherine held the position of Director - IB Financial Crime Prevention at UBS for a brief period in early 2024. Katherine's extensive experience in financial crimes compliance includes serving as Vice President and Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse from 2016 to 2024, where responsibilities included heading the Americas PEP Desk. Earlier, Katherine worked as Manager of AML Compliance at JPMorgan Chase from 2014 to 2016 and completed an internship at Bank of New York Mellon in 2012-2014. Katherine also gained experience as a Legal Assistant and intern at Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLC in 2010 and 2011. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Binghamton University.
