Martine Bond

EVP, Head of Electronic Trading Solutions at State Street

Martine Bond is an executive vice president responsible for electronic trading solutions within State Street Global Markets. Electronic trading solutions help our clients maximize efficiency while reducing trading costs for foreign exchange, cash and derivatives.

Martine joined State Street to oversee the operation and expansion of core trading and clearing assets including Currenex®, FX Connect®, FundConnect®, GovEx®, SwapEx®, and the Futures and OTC Clearing business. She was formerly responsible for trading and clearing within State Street Global Exchange.

Prior to joining State Street, she worked at Morgan Stanley, where she ran the FX Prime Brokerage and Clearing businesses, and the FX Gateway multi-manager investment portal. Martine was the global COO for the Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets business, where she was responsible for developing and implementing key strategic business growth opportunities for the business. From 2004 to 2009, Martine led the FX Prime Brokerage business for JPMorgan where she was responsible for developing and executing core product strategies for alternative clients. Between 2000 and 2004, she managed the European Equities Client Management team.

Martine studied business management at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
