Sarath Kuravi

Sarath Kuravi has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Sarath started their career at Bank of America in 2012 as a Senior Team Member in the Credit Management department. In this role, they were responsible for setting up credit lines for approved customers using specific software and applications.

In 2015, Sarath joined Franklin Templeton Investments as an Operations Consultant. Sarath led continuous improvement initiatives and projects and worked closely with custodians and fund administrators to onboard new accounts and inform core brokers of new fund launches.

Most recently, Sarath joined State Street in 2021 as a Project Team Lead. Sarath serves as the go-to person for a team of 6 employees and provides operational support to various departments, including client service groups, portfolio management, middle office client services, and transaction monitoring teams. Sarath also onboarded new investment managers, brokers, funds, and custodians using various platforms and ensured accurate data setup for different types of financial transactions.

Throughout their career, Sarath has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and expertise in operational processes within the financial industry.

Sarath Kuravi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Sarath obtained a B.Com Honours degree in Commerce and Finance from Keshav Memoria Degree College from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Sarath has certifications including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2023, and Cert Prep: Scrum Master from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2023.
