Tom Benda is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Legal for US Investor Services at State Street Corporation since 2007, Tom Benda leads a team that provides crucial legal advice related to custody, fund accounting, fund administration, and transfer agency services. Prior to this role, Tom Benda held positions as Managing Director and Senior Counsel within State Street Alternative Investment Solutions, as well as Vice President and Counsel at Wellington Management and State Street Corporation. Tom Benda began his legal career as Senior Counsel at Goodwin Procter LLP. Tom Benda earned a JD, Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University.
