Bruce Mather is a seasoned legal professional and educator with extensive experience in labor and employment law, as well as workers' compensation law. Mather served as a professor at SUNY and SUNY New Paltz since June 2004, retiring from a professor role effective August 31, 2017. Prior to academia, Mather held the position of General Counsel and VP of International Business at DeRoyal from November 1995 to April 2004, and worked as Counsel at Alston & Bird LLP from April 1990 to November 1995. Mather's educational background includes a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, a Master's in Human Resource Development from The George Washington University, a Master's in Organizational Management from Tusculum University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Georgia State University.
