Donna Flayhan, Ph.D., has extensive experience in academia and public health. Currently serving as a Professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz since August 2004, Flayhan has played a significant role in higher education. Additionally, Flayhan founded and served as Director of Grant Funding for the Lower Manhattan Public Health Project from 2004 to 2010. Prior to this, Flayhan was the Chair of the Communication & Media department at Goucher College from 1995 to 2004. Flayhan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication and Media Studies and a Master of Arts in Communication, Media, & Cultural Studies from the University of Iowa, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communication from the University of New Hampshire.
