Karen Sieverding is an experienced educator and healthcare professional with a robust background in nursing and health care management. Since 2005, Karen has served as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY New Paltz, focusing on nursing history, health care ethics, and finance. Prior to this role, Karen managed internal audit processes at Montefiore Medical Center from 1997 to 2009, and directed various quality management services at Barnert Hospital between 1995 and 1997. Karen also held the position of Administrative Director of Medical Affairs at Saint Francis Hospital from 1980 to 1995, overseeing operations for a Family Health Clinic and a Family Practice Residency program.
