Melanie Hill

Melanie Hill is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in the field of counseling education. Currently serving as Chair of the Counselor Education Department at the State University of New York at New Paltz since October 2021, Melanie has also held the position of Associate Professor and Director of the Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling Program at SUNY New Paltz since 2003. Previous roles include Visiting Professor at The University of Wisconsin and Psychology Intern at Kansas State University. Melanie Hill earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from The University of Akron and a B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University.
