Soumen Paul

Soumen Paul is a civil engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and consultancy within the urban development and construction sectors. Currently serving as a nodal officer for the State Urban Development Agency since April 2023, Soumen is responsible for water supply and sewerage treatment projects under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative. Prior to this role, Soumen worked as a consultant at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, contributing to the New Town Kolkata Smart City Project through project planning, cost control, and vendor management. With a solid background that includes roles such as project engineer and senior civil engineer across various prominent organizations, Soumen has successfully managed multiple significant projects, including those in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Soumen holds an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Narula Institute of Technology, completed in 2011.
