Tiana Newbauer-Hampton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tiana began their career as a Technical Customer Service Rep at Ceridian in 1998. Tiana then joined Qwest Communications in 2001, where they worked as a Senior Engineer and later became a Lead Process Analyst. In 2007, they joined CenturyLink and held various roles, including Product Manager, Sr. Product Manager, and Sr. Lead Product Manager - IQ Networking. From 2017 to 2019, Tiana served as the Manager of Product Management at CenturyLink. In 2019, they transitioned to Stateless and worked as a Technical Product Manager until 2020. Tiana was then promoted to Engineering Manager and currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Stateless, starting in September 2021.

Tiana Newbauer-Hampton has a diverse educational background spanning from 1991 to 2005. In 1991, they enrolled at the First Nations University of Canada, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science. Tiana completed their undergraduate studies in 1996. In the following year, from 1995 to 1996, they attended Tomsk State Pedagogical University, acquiring a Certificate in Russian Language and Aboriginal Peoples of Siberia Study. Later on, Tiana pursued further education at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications. This particular degree was completed in 2002. After a brief gap, from 2004 to 2005, Tiana pursued additional studies at Inver Hills Community College, focusing on Telecommunications Tracks.
