Yue Chen

Yue Chen is an experienced educator specializing in Chinese language instruction, currently serving as a Chinese Teacher at Staten Island Academy since September 2022 and at Riverdale Country School since August 2018. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon from September 2012 to June 2018, and teaching positions at Brandeis University and as a curator intern at Peabody Essex Museum. Yue Chen also contributed as an Assistant Editor for various magazines, including FHM and ESQUIRE, from September 2006 to January 2007. Educational credentials include a Doctoral candidacy in East Asian Language and Literature from the University of Oregon, a Master of Arts in Cultural Production from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University.
