Barry Hahn

Barry Hahn is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and academic research. Currently serving as the Director of Emergency Medicine Academic Research at Staten Island University Hospital since June 2004, Barry oversees the research program for emergency medicine residents and facilitates academic publications and presentations. In addition, Barry holds the position of Director of Emergency Medicine Pharma Research, where responsibilities include initiating and managing clinical trials while negotiating research budgets. As an Associate Professor and Attending Physician, Barry provides emergency medical care at a Level I Trauma Center, along with teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at CannRx Technology, where Barry led the development of cannabis-based medical products, and Attending Physician at Memorial Regional Hospital in Florida. Barry completed medical education at Kings County Hospital | SUNY Downstate, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College.
