Louise Cone

Louise Cone is a highly experienced professional in art conservation, currently serving as the Co-coordinator for NKFDK’s Time-Based Media Conservation Group at NKF since June 2024. Louise has been involved as a Youth Mentor for Foreningen FISKEN since December 2022 and has maintained a private art conservation practice, Cone Contemporary Art Conservation, since August 2000. As a Conservator for Contemporary Art and Sculpture at Statens Museum for Kunst since September 2005, Louise oversees the care of the museum's contemporary art and sculpture collection. Additional roles include Project Leader for the PRIMI initiative at the School of Conservation and Guest Lecturer, with past experience as a Conservator in New York City and coordination positions within international conservation organizations. Louise holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a cand.scient.cons in contemporary art and sculpture from Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi.
