Fangyan Sun

Fangyan Sun is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both the University of Windsor and Stathera, Inc. since June 2023, leveraging a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering acquired through a PhD from the University of Waterloo. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at the University of Waterloo, where Fangyan Sun contributed to low carbon power generation technology and project management. As a Doctoral Researcher, Fangyan Sun developed expertise in cleanroom environments and device fabrication, specifically in MOSCAP and photodetectors. Fangyan Sun also served as a Teaching Assistant, supporting mechanical engineering students through tutorials, exam proctoring, and laboratory assistance. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Material and Nanoscience from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University.
