Alicja Markiewicz

Alicja Markiewicz has over 15 years of experience in economics and statistics, currently serving as an Economist/Statistician in the Economic Statistics Department at Statistics Sweden since January 2008. Previously, Alicja held the position of Statistician/Production Manager and Junior Lecturer at Linköpings Universitet from August 2006 to March 2007, focusing on Statistics and Mathematics. Alicja's early career included work as an Administrative Assistant at Bank PEKAO SA in Szczecin in 1994. Alicja holds a PhD in Economics (Statistics) from the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin, and a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, and Accounting from the same institution. Further education includes attendance at the Stockholm School of Economics.
