Julie Wedege

Julie Wedege serves as the Senior Vice President of Politics and Ownership at Statkraft, where responsibilities include overseeing political and regulatory affairs, managing climate policies, and facilitating dialogue with the company's owner. Wedege has extensive experience in public affairs, having held various roles within Statkraft, including VP Head of Politics, Ownership and Climate, and Acting SVP Head of Public Affairs. Additionally, Wedege's leadership extends beyond Statkraft through memberships on several boards, including Statkraft Energi AS and Norsk hydrogenforum. Previous experience includes advising the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on policies and regulations, as well as roles in industrial policies and international trade negotiations. Wedege holds a Cand. Polit. from the University of Bergen and a Master of Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
