Stian Salomonsen

Stian Salomonsen currently serves as the VP Head of Cash Management at Statkraft since March 2022, bringing extensive experience in financial services. Prior to this role, Stian held various positions at Handelsbanken from November 2007 to March 2022, including Senior Advisor Cash Management and Account Manager for Corporate Clients. Stian's career in finance began at GIEK Kredittforsikring AS, where responsibilities included serving as Credit Risk Manager and IT Manager from June 2000 to October 2007. Additionally, Stian worked as a Trade Investment Consultant for the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in early 2000. Stian's educational background includes a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, a major in Political Science from the University of Oslo, and qualifications in Marketing, Economics, and Administration from Østfold University College, along with a Cand.mag. degree in Social Sciences from the University of Oslo.
