Mike Sperduti has extensive experience in the software engineering field. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at StatPearls.com, the largest medical education content provider globally. In this role, they oversee a team of medical authors and ensures the daily update of peer-reviewed articles and related questions for physicians, nurses, and allied professions.
Prior to their current position, Sperduti worked at JADAK LLC, where they held multiple roles. Mike served as a Software Platform Leader from January 2019 to September 2021, contributing to embedded software design and integrating image sensors across various operating systems and processors. Mike also developed large-scale applications using the Qt C++ framework for Windows. Before that, Sperduti was a Senior Software R&D Engineer at JADAK from January 2010 to January 2021.
Additionally, Sperduti gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Welch Allyn from January 2009 to January 2010, where they focused on creating a client framework for accessing server databases using .NET programming and LINQ to SQL.
At the beginning of their career, Sperduti worked at Honeywell as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2004 to February 2008. Mike was responsible for customizing standard software products to meet customer-specific requirements. This involved modifying bar-code decoding algorithms, system image capture routines, and emulating communication protocols.
Mike Sperduti attended SUNY Geneseo from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
