Ben Davies

Ben Davies has a diverse work experience history. Ben is currently working as a Software Engineer at StatsBomb since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at English Language iTutoring Ltd from April 2020 to April 2021.

In 2019, Ben had two different roles. Ben worked as a Graduate Software Engineer at Audiogum from September 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they were part of an agile team that provided a microservice-style cloud platform for smart audio products. Ben'sresponsibilities included designing and building REST APIs, JSON representations, and conducting unit and acceptance tests using technologies such as Clojure, ClojureScript, SQL, ElasticSearch, AWS, Kuberenetes, Docker, Terraform, Microservices, CI/CD.

Additionally, in 2019, Ben also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Nulight Studios for a brief period from June to July. Ben'swork involved implementing Video-Super-Resolution through a temporally coherent generative adversarial network using Tensorflow deep learning module in Python.

Before entering the tech industry, Ben worked as an English Tutor at Educastream from December 2018 to July 2019. Ben also gained experience as a Computer Vision Intern at Perceptual Robotics from June to August 2018.

Furthermore, Ben has co-founded an online platform called Bristol Loves in 2017. The platform aimed to support the independent community in Bristol and promote independent businesses.
