Husamuddin Hamad

Husamuddin Hamad has extensive experience in software development and engineering. Husamuddin is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at StatsBomb, where they are responsible for developing both backend and frontend products and assisting with system design drafts. Husamuddin is also implementing Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams and evaluating technology stack choices.

Prior to their current role, Husamuddin worked as a Technical Team Lead at Vapulus from 2020 to 2021. In this position, they were involved in the development of fin-tech products hosted on GCP and later on AWS using EKS and other AWS solutions. Husamuddin successfully migrated the system from a Swarm-based cluster to Kubernetes, created helm charts, and implemented a service mesh architecture for communication management.

Before joining Vapulus, Husamuddin served as a Technical Lead at Tqweem Masr from 2017 to 2020. Husamuddin also worked as a Senior Software Developer at the same company in 2017. Husamuddin has experience as a Full Stack Web Developer at Ousta Technologies in 2016, a Senior Full Stack Web Developer at Simplative Technology Solutions in 2015, and a Backend Web Developer at Media Pan Arab and Marvel Systems in 2014 and 2013 respectively.

Husamuddin Hamad holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechatronics Engineering from October 6 University. Husamuddin also achieved the "Kubernetes: Microservices" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021. Furthermore, in September 2022, Husamuddin earned the "Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)" certification from The Linux Foundation.
