İzzet Pembeci

İzzet Pembeci has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. İzzet is currently working as a Sr. Python Engineer at StatsBomb since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Vitus Commodities as a Sr. Software Engineer from May 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they were a Sr. Software Engineer at Countly from April 2019 to May 2020. İzzet also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Linovi from January 2018 to April 2019, where they were involved in various projects utilizing technologies such as Scala Play, Google Cloud Products, Django Channels, Falcon, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, October CMS, and Vue. İzzet has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Mugla University Department of Computer Science from December 2007 to January 2017, and as a Software Engineer at AMS Controls from March 2005 to October 2006. İzzet's earliest work experience includes the role of Sr. Programmer & Analyst at Zanvyl-Krieger Mind Brain Institute - The Johns Hopkins University from June 2003 to March 2005, where they were responsible for designing and implementing real-time programs for neurophysiological experiments using C and C++ on the QNX operating system.

İzzet Pembeci completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1995 to 1997. İzzet further pursued their education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed from 1998 to 2003.
