Warehouse Operative (temporary)

About your Role 

STATSports Group are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives to support our operations department across shipping, dispatch and assembly of orders to allow STATSports to fulfil orders during Q4.

You will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams and colleagues. With the ability to work on your own initiative, you will be a key player in ensuring that the Warehouse department of the business flows smoothly and ensuring that optimum levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

This role will be based in Newry, Co.Down, Northern Ireland. 

What you’ll do: 

• You'll be a key part of our Operations team during the winter, helping to pick, pack, dispatch and assemble orders to specification

• You’ll complete all work to the appropriate standard and within operational schedules

• Work to the required production and quality standards

• Work as part of the team to ensure that the daily production targets are met.

• Familiarise yourself with all relevant operational procedure and comply with all instructions.

• Familiarise yourself and comply with STATSports quality standards

• Actively participate in your daily team briefings.

• Ensure that all housekeeping in your area is maintained to the highest possible standards.

• Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies.

About You 

You’ll need to have:  

• A minimum of 6 months experience working within a warehouse or production environment

• Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

It would be great if you: 

• Experience using ERP or order fulfilment systems such as NAV

• Experience with SmartFreight platform
