SWB has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. They have served as an Infrastructure Security Engineer (Core Contributor) at Status since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Blockchain Security Engineer at Dynasty Studios from April 2022 to August 2022. From May 2021 to May 2022, they were a Security Engineer (Core Contributor) at Status, where they managed SSDLC, bug bounty program, threat modeling, OWASP & SANS implementation, and security policies, as well as reviewed and audited smart contracts.

Before joining Status, SWB held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Enno Wallet & Enno Cash, being responsible for the security architecture of the mobile application and the implementation of the blockchain infrastructure. They also served as a co-founder of the company.

Additionally, SWB worked as an Enterprise Security Architect at Etiya from December 2020 to May 2021, a Senior Cyber Security Specialist at IAS - Industrial Application Software from October 2020 to December 2020, and a Cyber Security Analyst at BtcTurk from October 2019 to October 2020. At BtcTurk, they were responsible for web application, mobile application, network, and API penetration tests, as well as infrastructure security planning and executing social engineering attacks.

Prior to entering the cybersecurity field, SWB gained various HR experience, including roles as an HR Manager, Outsource Project Manager, HR Consultant, and Sales Coach at different companies between 2013 and 2017.

SWB has a diverse education history with a focus on technology and management. SWB obtained a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security and Data Analytics from Loughborough University London in 2022 and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Beykent University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to these degrees, SWB completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Anadolu University, spanning from 2013 to 2020.

There are two instances of dropouts in SWB's education history. SWB dropped out from Ankara University, where they were studying Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, and also dropped out from Bilkent University, where they were studying Computer Science.

In addition to formal education, SWB has also obtained several certifications. They earned a Certified Blockchain Developer - Ethereum (CBDE) certification from the Blockchain Training Alliance in February 2021. In November 2020, SWB completed the Google IT Support Specialization certification. They also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification in June 2020. In April 2017, they completed the Sales Leadership Micro MBA from İstanbul Business School (İBS Türkiye), a company of MCT Group. Furthermore, SWB holds a Certified Coach certification, an NLP Certificate, and a Trainer Certificate from LIVCON Türkiye, obtained in September 2014, June 2014, and May 2013, respectively.
