Hamane Edwards

Hamane Edwards is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in athletics and STEM education. Currently serving as Athletic Director at Bridge Preparatory Academy since August 2022, Hamane oversees the development of various sports programs while fostering a supportive environment for student-athletes. Concurrently, as an Upper Level Math Teacher, Hamane delivers engaging lessons and evaluates student performance. Additionally, experience as an Academic Coach at Staying Ahead of the Game LLC involves personalized student academic goal-setting and executive functioning skill development. Previous roles include leadership within various educational organizations, focusing on STEM accreditation and teacher support, as well as experience in special education and laboratory settings. Hamane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geographical Sciences from the University of Maryland.
