Matt Guthrie has a diverse work history spanning over three decades. Matt began their career as a Computer Programmer at Bull HN Information Systems in 1990. From 1994 to 1996, they worked as a Technical Analyst for Global-Res/Global Resources. In 1996, they joined Global Hospitality Solutions as the Director of Central Reservations System Product Development and System Architect.
In 1999, Guthrie moved to Hospitality Solutions International (division of MICROS Systems Inc.) as the VP of Product Development and Lead Architect. Matt led the development of the company's entire product line and successfully merged software teams from three different companies. Matt also managed the Development, QA, and IT groups.
In 2005, Guthrie started their own consulting company, MG Consulting, where they provided technical leadership and expertise to various clients. Matt also served as VP of Engineering at MediServe from 2005 to 2013.
In 2013, Guthrie became a Consultant at MG Consulting and focused on healthcare smartphone app projects, technical design review, and custom software development. Finally, in 2015, they joined STChealth as the Director of Software Engineering, where they oversee the engineering team and manages healthcare enterprise applications development. Matt'sroles have required proficiency in various programming languages and technologies such as C#, Java, Python, Node.js, MongoDB, and Amazon Web Services.
Matt Guthrie has a diverse education history. Matt completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) with a specialization in Computer Systems Engineering at Arizona State University from 1984 to 1990. Later, they pursued Graduate Studies in Business Administration at the same university from 1991 to 1993.
