Jim Kano

Jim Kano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development across various technology and fintech sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Steamchain Corp since November 2020, Jim has contributed to the company’s innovative payment processing solutions for the transportation and logistics industries. As the Principal at JHK Strategies LLC since January 2014, Jim provides strategic consulting and investment services focused on growth-oriented software companies. Previously, Jim held key roles such as Vice President of Sales at Qstream, where Jim enhanced sales effectiveness for major corporations, and Vice President of Sales at ABBYY USA, where Jim led revenue growth in enterprise solutions. With a strong background in global sales leadership from positions at Equitrac Corporation and EFI, as well as strategic account management at Read-Rite Corporation, Jim combines sales acumen with deep industry knowledge. Jim holds a BA from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from San Jose State University.
