Raiza Basilio

Raiza Basilio is the Vice President for the Citizen Service & Defense (CS&D) Portfolio. Raiza brings to Steampunk over 15 years of expertise in government contracting, strong client relationships, and a unique perspective that Steampunk has sought-after for their leadership team. Raiza went to school to become a data scientist and has led first-of-their-kind IT programs as a consultant. Raiza started her career as a government contractor for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) where she focused on implementing the HSPD-12 help desk. Following her time at DHS, she supported the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for 6 years performing data science on their financial data. She then moved to IBM to lead cutting edge IT programs at their consulting division. Raiza is recognized for developing client relationships and growing existing relationships on all levels.

Raiza studied communications and information science but decided to switch paths to become a certified data scientist. She lives in Oakton, VA with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 big dogs.
