LEONA MARTIN

Leona Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Their most recent position was at FEMA, where they served as a Public Assistance Operations Support TFL and a Survivor Mobile Applications Reports Analyst (SMARA). Prior to their time at FEMA, they worked as a Disaster Recovery Specialist. Leona also has experience in recruitment and human resources as a Recruiting Associate at Steelpoint LLC. LEONA has also worked as a Claims Processor at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Earlier in their career, Leona held positions as an Office Administrator at Park Southern Apartments and as a Corresponding Secretary at Ward 8 Democrats. LEONA gained legal experience as a Legal Assistant Office Manager at The Public Defender Service of DC and the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.

Leona Martin completed their high school education at RMSH from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of the District of Columbia from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
