Karl Mead

Karl Mead has extensive experience in industrial design, primarily with Steelcase since 1995, where roles have included Industrial Design Manager for Operations, Global Design Manager for Architecture and Systems Products, and Principal Designer. In these positions, Karl has led product development initiatives, integrating Evidence-Based Design with research while collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and external resources to create innovative healthcare solutions. Prior to Steelcase, Karl served as a Paste Up Artist at Marking Methods. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design, complemented by coursework at Pasadena City College.
