Joshua Johnston

Joshua Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joshua currently serves as the Hydrogen Systems Program Manager at Steelhead Composites, specializing in hydrogen storage solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Enlighten Innovations for over five years, where they contributed to the development and management of products.

Before their tenure at Enlighten Innovations, Joshua worked at Ceramatec, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Process Engineer II, Lab Technician III, and Research Intern. In these positions, they utilized Lean Six Sigma processes and methodology to optimize milling conditions, firing schedules, and material handling. Joshua also scaled up Sodium Methylate Production Modules and reduced manufacturing costs for increased project profit. Additionally, they developed forming techniques and process controls for pressing ceramic powders, built and tested electrochemical cells, and conducted material strength testing.

Earlier in their career, Joshua served as an Orientation Leader at the University of Utah and a Sales Associate at Sears, Roebuck and Co. Overall, Joshua's work experience highlights their expertise in program management, product development, process optimization, and laboratory skills.
