Egan Reich

Egan Reich is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and editorial services, currently serving as the Director of Media and Editorial Services at the U.S. Department of Labor since January 2021. In this role, Egan acts as a department spokesman for various media, develops and executes strategic communications campaigns, and supports investigative journalists. Egan has a background in theatre, holding the position of Literary Manager at Steep Theatre Company since October 2016 and previously working as a playwright for Dog & Pony Theatre Co. and Steep Theatre. Egan's earlier roles include writing and editing for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, participation in the Presidential Management Fellowship Program, and leadership of Hooverville Productions. Egan holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Creative Writing from Northwestern University.
