Nicola Sutherland

Nicola Sutherland is an experienced professional in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Board Trustee for The Literacy Hubs since March 2023. As Director of People & Culture at Steer Automotive Group since December 2021, Nicola has demonstrated leadership in shaping people strategies. Previously, Nicola held the position of Head of Human Resources Development at Tesco Underwriting from April 2018 to November 2021, focusing on operational HRD services and business transformation as part of the executive management team. From May 2005 to March 2017, Nicola led initiatives in organizational effectiveness at Ageas in the UK, contributing significantly to employee engagement and culture. Earlier roles included Head of Learning & Development and Learning & Development Manager, where Nicola was pivotal in L&D strategy and technology enhancements. Nicola's educational credentials include a PG Diploma in Training & Development from the University of Leicester.
