Becky Gardiner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Becky started their career as the General Manager of CentralMed Ltd from 2007 to 2010. Becky then moved to Peak Primary Limited, where they initially served as the People Support Coordinator from 2010 to 2012 before becoming the General Manager for their Tauranga branch from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Becky worked at New World Brookfield as an Office Manager in 2013. Since 2014, they have been associated with Waipuna Hospice Incorporated, first as the HR & Operations Manager and later as the Director of HR & Quality, overseeing non-clinical team coordination, quality oversight, and HR processes.

Becky Gardiner received a BMS degree in Marketing and Psychology from The University of Waikato from 1998 to 2002. In 2018, they attended the Institute for Strategic Leadership to study strategic leadership. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1997, they attended Otumoetai College.
