Anita Mauchan

Anita has 27 years of experience in transport planning in a variety of disciplines, such as transport policy and appraisal, demand forecasting, multi-modal transport modeling and behavioral data collection.

Anita is an expert in directing traffic studies for major infrastructure projects including highways, LRT, BRT, and heavy rail projects. Her work extends from the pre-feasibility stages, through appraisal, funding, and due diligence, to post-opening advisory services. One of Anita’s key skills is the communication of complex technical approaches in a clear and straightforward manner, which has been honed by her due diligence work with public and private sector clients around the world. In recent years, Anita has supported the UK’s Transport for the North in the production of travel demand forecasts for alternative futures of disruptive technologies, economic growth and land use planning.

Anita works with the strategy and economics and infrastructure teams, developing the service offer for public and private sector clients. She also shares responsibility for the integration of Steer’s Technical Assurance Framework into the business procedures.
