Gabor Debreczeni

Gabor Debreczeni has a diverse work experience in economic analysis and strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Economist, North America at Steer, where they lead a team that evaluates the economic impacts of infrastructure and policy decisions. Prior to this, they worked at WSP USA as the Manager of Economic Analysis and Strategy and Vice President. Their responsibilities included conducting quantitative and policy analyses with a focus on infrastructure and equity. Gabor also worked as an Urban Transportation Tech External Consultant at Athena Infonomics and as an Urban Analyst at the World Bank Group. Additionally, they have experience as an Emerging Markets Trader at Jane Street and as a Reporter Intern at Dow Jones Newswires, where they wrote and published numerous articles.

Gabor Debreczeni obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Yale University in 2010. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Development and International Economics at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
