Rahul Mehta

Rahul Mehta has a diverse work experience in the field of art and animation. Rahul is currently serving as an Art Director at Steer Studios since 2022. Previously, they worked at Zynga from 2012 to 2022, starting as a Senior Art Director. In this role, they managed numerous titles and focused on Casual and Invest Express games. Before that, Rahul co-founded Studio816Entertainment (United Nation Initiative) in 2008, where they worked as a Co-Founder and Creative Director. Rahul primarily worked on projects related to child rights and the environment, particularly for the United Nations. Prior to that, they served as the Pre-production Head at Rolta India from 2006 to 2008. In this role, they managed the in-house art team, oversaw art direction for new IPs, and handled outsourcing work for international clients and games. Rahul began their career as an Animation Director at Escorts Limited in 2000. Rahul led a team of 2D artists and worked on various national and international 2D animated TV series, short films, and local advertisements. Before that, Rahul worked as a Lead Animator/Animation Supervisor at Image Multimedia Pvt Limited from 1996 to 2000, where they contributed to interactive CBTs and e-learning projects for children. Rahul began their professional journey as an Illustrator at Brush and Woods Pvt Ltd in 1994, creating illustrations for books, advertising campaigns, and social awareness topics.

Rahul Mehta obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Design and Applied Arts from the College of Arts in Tilak Marg, New Delhi. Rahul completed this degree between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they studied Applied Arts at the same institution during the same period, earning a B.F.A degree.
