William O'Farrell is an experienced entrepreneur and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School since 2012, teaching graduate-level courses in Launching New Ventures and Launching Social Ventures. O'Farrell holds advisory roles with multiple startups, including steg.ai, aifleet, Fathom Optics, Andaman7, and Halla, the latter of which was acquired by Wynshop. Prior leadership positions include Co-Founder, CEO, and Chairman at Body Labs, an AI company focused on digital representation of the human body, and similar roles at OpenAir, a provider of ERP software for the professional services industry, and SpeechWorks, a pioneer in telephony-based speech recognition systems that was acquired by Nuance. O’Farrell holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Brown University, complemented by a Clean Tech Fellowship from the New England Clean Energy Council.
