Bart Schanssema

Bart Schanssema is an experienced professional in operations and technology management, currently serving as the Technology Lead for Pickling & Cold Rolling at Stegra since January 2024. Prior to this role, Bart held various managerial positions at Tata Steel in Europa from September 2011 to January 2024, including Manager Operations Cold Mill and Operations Manager Direct Sheet Plant. Bart also contributed as a Program Manager for Operational Excellence and participated in productivity improvement initiatives. Bart's earlier career includes a role as Project Manager at N.V. NOM from September 2008 to August 2011. Bart holds two Master's degrees from the University of Groningen, one in Philosophy and the other in Technology Management, attained between 2002 and 2012.
