Mohamed Shafeek holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Missouri, along with various certifications in banking and accounting from esteemed institutions including the Canadian Securities Institute and the Institute of Bankers in Sri Lanka. With extensive experience in the banking sector, Mohamed has held multiple roles at Steinbach Credit Union since June 2018, including Consumer Lending Officer and Project Associate. Prior experience includes positions at BDO as a Junior Technician in the Tax Department and a progressive career at Standard Chartered Bank in Sri Lanka and Dubai, where Mohamed served in leadership roles such as Head of Call Centre, Head of Branch Operations, and Senior Manager of Operations.
