Mike Boone

Mike Boone, CRST, possesses extensive experience in health and safety management, currently serving as the Contractor Safety Management Coordinator and Radiation Safety Officer for STELCO since January 2019. In this role, Mike oversees contractor safety at the Hamilton Works and Lake Erie locations while also managing radiation and industrial safety duties. Previous positions include OH&S Manager at Professional Valve Service Ltd., where Mike developed health and safety plans and conducted workplace inspections, and Safety Coordinator at Tracerco Ltd., focusing on EHS policy management and staff training. Educational achievements include a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma and an Ontario College Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Lambton College.
