Daniel Yu

Daniel Yu has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Daniel most recently worked at Stell as a Senior Software Engineer starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineering Manager at LeaseLock from 2021 to 2022, where they played a key role in transitioning their systems to Salesforce-centric platforms. Before that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer II from 2020 to 2021, where they led the development and support of the 1-Click advertising product.

In 2019, Daniel joined Tala as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to their platform rearchitecture initiative. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Embrace.io as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for building back-end data processing pipelines and the initial architecture of the Android SDK. At Avant in 2016, Daniel designed and built a microservice for securely storing and managing credit reports and also developed a secure data storage service.

Daniel's early career includes roles at Symantec, where they worked on projects related to mobile security and developed network features for the Symantec Security Fortifications for Android project. As an intern at Symantec, they gained experience in reverse engineering malware samples and conducted security-related research.
