James Decraene

James Decraene serves as the Vice President of Data Science at Stellantis since July 2022, following a tenure as Associate Director of Data Science at Wolters Kluwer from June 2018 to June 2022. At Wolters Kluwer, James led AI and data science-driven research and innovation, focusing on harnessing data from various applications. Previously, James built and managed the data science practice at Casumo, overseeing a growing team as the company expanded significantly. Experiences also include roles as a Data Scientist at SingTel and as a Senior Research Fellow at A*STAR, where James led initiatives in urban planning and agent-based modeling. James earned a PhD in Complex Adaptive Systems from Dublin City University and has a solid educational foundation in Computer Science from Concordia University and Teesside University.
